LILY Allen is swapping music for fashion as she launches her collection.

Smile singer, Lily Allen, who is taking a break from music, will launch her fashion range Lucy In Disguise at the The Vintage At Goodwood festival.

The festival will celebrate British music and design through the decades.

Designer Wayne Hemingway, who is launching the festival, said: "We have carefully curated a celebratory festival in complete contrast to this staid status quo, that re-unites music, fashion and culture.

"That is unashamedly about dressing up rather than down and being comfortable rather than compromised. There has been nothing to date like Vintage.”

The event is designed to be a celebration of the music, fashion and culture of yesteryear and organisers say it will be 'celebrating five decades of British cool'.

It will feature a roller disco, a 40s-style nightclub and a recreation of the Northern Soul venue Wigan Casino, curated by aficionado Eddie Piller.

Acts such as Sandie Shaw, the Damned, the Buzzcocks and Heaven 17 will be performing at the event in West Sussex in August.

Also on the bill will be veteran comic and scriptwriter Barry Cryer, plus artists including the Beat.
