SIKH KIDS CAN CARRY DAGGERS AT SCHOOL

BRITAIN’S first Asian judge was branded “irresponsible” by Mothers Against Violence yesterday after saying Sikh children should be able to bring a ceremonial dagger to school.


Sir Mota Singh had spoken out after a number of Sikhs were banned from carrying the four-inch-long Kirpan. He said: “I’ve always worn it for the last 35 to 40 years, even when I was sitting in court.”
